City Palace (Vinay Vilas Mahal)

Location: Heart of Alwar city, below Bala Quila

Built in 1793 AD by Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh, the City Palace blends Rajput and Islamic architectural styles. Its courtyard features graceful marble pavilions set on lotus-flower bases. Part of the complex now houses the Alwar Government Museum, with royal artifacts, paintings, and historical memorabilia connected to Alwar’s rulers.
